18 May First short journey after the end of quarantine

In approximately 1 hour driving, we arrived at Spileo with the vision to attempt reach the top of the Orliakas (mountain). Nonetheless, the path was not clear and we needed to climb for the last 200 meters. So, we decided to go back to the village and start DESCENDING on the beautiful trail that leads to the Portitsa bridge. The canyon was marvelous but the way up a bit strenuous in combination with the heat. Before heading back to Kastoria, we got on the road to Kalambaka and stopped at the point crossing the Venetikos river to enjoy the view of the fantastic rock formations on the banks of the river.
